China's old days shoes Vs. Japan's today shoes
Also known as lotus shoes, these tiny shoes were made in China for a woman with bound feet, during the late 19th Century. The sole is made of layers of cotton and cloth pasted onto a wooden board and the upper is made of embroidered silk.
Big feet were seen as ugly so a woman skilled in foot binding would start binding girls feet when they were between 5 and 7 years old. They would be bound frequently over a period of about 2 years until they were the ideal size of 3 inches. The heel needed to be full and round with the big toe coming to a thin point.

Six Secrets To Lifelong Love
For anyone contemplating marriage, here are six straightforward recommendations that will increase the chance of living happily ever after.
1) “Don’t marry the person you think you can live with. Marry the one you can’t live without.”
There’s great truth in this advice. Marriage can be difficult even when two people are passionately in love with one another, but it is murder when they don’t even have that foundation to build on.
2) Don’t marry someone who has characteristics that you feel are intolerable.
You may plan to change him or her in the future, but that probably won’t happen. Behavior runs in deep channels that were cut during early childhood, and it is very difficult to alter them. In order to change a deeply ingrained pattern, you have to build a sturdy dam, dig another canal and reroute the river in new direction. That effort is rarely successful over the long haul. Therefore, if you can’t live with a characteristic that shows up during courtship, it may plague you for the rest of your life.
3) Do not marry impulsively!
I can think of no better way to mess up your life than to leap into this critical decision without careful thought. Remember, the dating relationship is designed to conceal information, not reveal it. Both partners put on their best faces for the one they seek to attract. They guard secrets that might be a turn-off. Therefore, many newlyweds get a big surprise during the first year of married life. I suggest that you take at least a year to get beyond the façade and into the inner character of the person.
4) Do not move in with a person before marriage.
To do so is a bad idea because it undermines a relationship and often leads to divorce.
Studies show that couples who live together before marriage have a 50 percent greater chance of divorce than those who don’t – based on 50 years of data. Those who cohabit also have less satisfying and more unstable marriages. Why? The researchers found that those who had lived together later regretted having “violated their moral standards,” and “felt a loss of personal freedom to exit out the back door.” Furthermore, and in keeping with the theme of marital bonding, they have “stolen” a level of intimacy that is not warranted at that point, nor has it been validated by the degree of commitment to one another.
5) Don’t get married too young.
Making it as a family requires some characteristics that come with maturity, such as selflessness, stability and self-control. It’s best to wait for their arrival.
6) Committed to each other for life.
Finally, the ultimate secret of lifelong love is this: Simply put, the stability of marriage is a by-product of an iron-willed determination to make it work. If you choose to marry, enter into that covenant with the resolve to remain committed to each other for life. Never threaten to leave your mate during angry moments. Don’t allow yourself to consider even the possibility of divorce. Calling it quits must not become an option for those who want to go the distance.

Chinese wedding style
Every bride wants to show off her wedding jewelry on her big day.
Wedding jewelry is a great way to spice up your wedding day.
Be proud of the sparkle and the attention focus on you.
Heard the phrase "queen for a day?" Chinese practically invented the idea of bride and groom being empress and emperor for the day.

the happy birthday days
The day after blocks came conveniently as a holiday for all of us ^^
For some others. This day proved even more special and significant
So papa mama nuer yanqi went early in the morning to a land quite far away to deliver breakfast to the birthday girl, who was being tortured as we "bundled" with the maid to discriminate lisyn by not serving breakfast at home.
Must be famished! Was about 10am ^^
Time past quickly. Shuzong left and in came Prof Mok and assistant Timtay
Calling for Canadian Pizza.
We played some (pokemon) monopoly.
Slacked around here and there while some others in the background played Neopets?!
There was a pretty nice card made for our bday girl (:
Sang the Bday song ^^
Cut cake. And eat. Duh XD
And thats about it. Haha
Ok now that the official report is over.
Lets go on to the. Not so official stuff. hehe ~
How about. Papa buying some toto. Hehe.
Or some. Sleeping. Hehe.
Ah but then. sleeping is very normal aint it not?
How about some. Threesome... sleeping. HEHE ~
Add in some tossing. groping. whatever u call. Get the idea? =p
And if its not enough for our dearest avid 6v readers.
Check out an exclusive. Gotta catch em all. RED HANDED.
WITH A VIDEO XDDDDDD
That was some fun.
Such a special day. Surely it was more than just a. normal birthday for some. for the rest of us, we shared loads of fun too.
So next time. Why dont you tag along too?
Dont stay at home. Dont be myopic and look short term. like hide in the car and mug for promos. and always say. load up. no time to lose.
I wonder who ah.
Yepp. Look longterm! This kind of bonds. Be it sigma bonds. or pi bonds. We probably wont forget for our lives.

So good to be over
The worst times are over. we are saved again!
Just a week before our blocks. we had much fun skating
Tie your shoes!
Our photo together at the skating ring! XD
soon the fun times ended. the frustrating times began
Some of us were in deep concentration
Some of us memorised the dictionary before GP..
Some were totally emo and lost their heads
And yet.. some of us just.. couldnt be bothered?
Ahaha retarded! Of course dont need care! WE'd be shocked if u did anyway
Check out this smile. Simply. Totally. Like a mugger's confidence smile. No problem tongzi! No stress.
In contrast to this. sian la exams no fun at all look. always AAAAAA. this one not any diff.
Whatever you felt, its over! Now its time for us to feel the same. Rejoice!
Of course there are the tired. Who needs some rest after prolonged mugging.
And the we need to discuss answers out of curiosity to know whether we deducted some 40 marks.
Hey. These 2 guys are acting oddly
They seem to be planning something. BIG. Shocking the world.
And when asked of the great plans, prof mok merely answered with a smile.
So whats up next for 6v. Its in for you to find out.
Lets have some earth shaking outing soon!!

June 26 is the International Anti-drug Day.
In 1987, the UN General Assembly decided to observe 26 June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.
The date marks the 1987 signing of the declaration adopted at the International Conference against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, and its avowed purposed is "to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse."
Indonesian anti-drug activists shrouded to represent death perform during a small demonstration in recognition of International Anti-drug day Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The purpose of the campaign is to warn people about the danger of drugs. The other aim is to encourage people who are already involved in addiction to solve their problem immediately.
