A devoted son who dialled his late mum's number for a year after she died to hear her voice on the answer phone has got engaged - to the girl who took over the number. Lonely Lou Yixion, 28, of Zhuhai, southern China, paid his dead mum's mobile account for a year after she died of liver cancer so he could still hear her whenever he felt depressed. Then at Christmas he dialled the mobile again - and got through to beautiful Li Lan, 25, who had just taken over the number. "I could hardly believe it. It was like my mother was matchmaking. She is a beautiful girl and lives very close to me," said Lou. "The more we talked, the closer we got and now we're getting married. I can't believe it. My mother is gone and she's still organising my life," he added.
