JaxScene Interview: Christopher Bartus
I saw Chris last night at 323 Modernism. We have known each other for close to 5 years. Chris is the type of person that is loyal to what he is into, as long as I can remember he has had the same friends, girlfriend, and job. He recently started a blog to catalog his record collection. Chris also guest DJ's at local bars and art shows.
What is your favorite salad dressing, soup, and how do you like your meat?Apple cider vinegar and olive oil, lentil with curry spices, from the sea.
Do you take vitamins? Mushrooms, cayenne peppers.
When is the last time you made a bet?I'm not a betting man.
Have you ever drank boxed wine?Hell yes and that shit was good.
What is the last thing you bought for somebody?Falafel
Do you have any personal heros?Kevin Ayers, Maya Deren, Telepathik Friends, Hilda Doolittle, Rebecca Brown, Caetano Veloso
The hurricane forecast expect 23 hurricanes this season what is your guess ?I used to think the natural disaster, although devastating to peoples homes and lives, could be a catalyst for a revolution of the mind. But when the levee broke a few years ago and the warning signs showed themselves few learned anything from it. It became only a tragedy for those involved. I'll think positive, dear mother, don't send us any.
If your job offered you a promotion would you rather have a free car, housing, or a raise?Apartment at the beach.
If you could own a well mannered monkey what is the biggest size you would want?I'm through monkeying around.
What is the most exotic food you have eaten?Lotus Flower/Cobra Snake Soup
