This tournament is worth five million dollars, and then winner will walk away with $1.2 million, with defending tournament champion Jim Furyk returning to the course to try to take another title. This is the first time that he has returned to a stroke play event since he won THE TOUR Championship along with the FedEx Cup. He walked away with a ten million dollar prize from a field of 18 last year. He also ended up with a total of 2,980 FedEx points after 21 events.
