Dear Reader: Stop Being A Cunt

Dear Reader,
Look at yourself, and ask yourself, am I a cunt? My answer is yes definitely, I know I am a cunt. I think most of you are Cunts, but not because your mean. But because your not nice enough, I'm a Cunt because, I don't give to the needy, I don't help others enough. I don't stop and do something wonderful to another person once a day, I don't help old people across roads,  I don't buy a homeless person a coffee, I do stare at crazy people in the street. The list goes on, I am sure you have a list of things you should do but don't. Can anyone truly say they aren't a bit selfish?
I believe there are people out there that are definitely not cunts, but they're not appreciated enough any more. We live in a world full of Cunts, we live in a world that is obsessed with itself and the negativity that scourges the media and our lives.
It's time for change, in a world that's threatened with war upon war and the economy in self-destruct mode, we're going to need each other. We need to make ourselves responsible for everyone else, forget about our lives take part in everyone else's, help those in need, if everyone just put themselves out their the social boundaries would change, the world would change, and ultimately you own life will change.
I need to change, I will be the first to admit it, I am a cunt, I'm irresponsible self-obsessed but at least I can see this, and I am going to change this. In the words of the late Michael Jackson "I'm starting with the man in the mirror!". His message should live on, though he had controversy his message was clear, and we should follow it not just listen! But I will say it more plainly once more, this world is full of Cunts, don't be a cunt!
This is me begging you, practice love, practice kindness, be the good guy! Please drop the past, and be true to life, the world is in pain, it cries for our help. People out their are fighting for survival, there are children at the side of the road having to sell their toys in the middle east, just to eat. While we in the west squander our money on a mountain of useless presents that will be thrown into the back of a cupboard.

Young girls are having to sell there bodies, be abused and used to be able to eat or to get clean water, while girls in this country use there body as a weapon to get what they want not what they need. Where is the justice in this world?

So take a look in the mirror, take a long look, and ask yourself who you are?
I just want to say that this is not about sitting here behind my laptop insulting you! But it is about making you feel bad, and I am using the word Cunt as I know it is a strong word to use in order to provoke you, I want you provoked, but I want you mad at yourself, because I am mad at myself, and I'm on a massive learning curve, my life's ambitions have changed all because of these thoughts that I am projecting. And I will feel accomplished in life if I get at least one of you to do one act of kindness. Life is about lessons, and I am in the middle of my biggest one, and am dragging you, the reader through it too. So join me in the fight against being a Cunt!

Music Is Life PR Presents: The Spotlight Sessions
April 8th 2010 @ vibe bar
£5 on the door 7:00 - 11:00pm

On April 8th 2010, The Spotlight Sessions returns to London, taking over Vibe Live, upstairs from the mighty Vibe Bar on Brick Lane, holding a night to raise awareness and funds for The WAYout Project.

WAYout is working in Sierra Leone providing educational and production facilities and resources, such as music studios, training in arts and media, and film facilities, providing opportunities to young people which will lead to their progression into music, film and other educational and employment opportunities.

Their current projects include Street to Street, supporting street youth to make video diaries of their lives to communicate with kids in the UK; the WAYout scholarships allowing disadvantaged children to gain scholarships to the country's only music academy; and the WAYout creative hubs - a series of creative hubs with WAYout Macs set up to support young people to create music and film.

Their new fundraising appeal is ‘A Quid for the Kids’. They are asking for a minimum of £1 per fortnight (so actually 50p per week) – its small, but if all their readers donated this amount then they should be able to open their first centre by the end of this 2010!!

For information on how to set up a direct debit, email them here info@wayoutarts.org. or you can donate at the WAYout website

False Prophet Alert...

David de Rothschild photo that featured in a recent Observer interview
"David de Rothschild is a traveler and adventurer who also happens to be heir to one of Europe's largest banking family fortunes."

Jesus

It is very possible the photographer who took the above photo that featured recently in the Observer Magazine decided to frame Mr. de Rothschild as a Messiah figure, perhaps due to his apparent shunning of his "families values". But as he mentioned himself in the article, "Conspiracy Theorists" are suspect of his motives, and he even mentions that he is supposed to be a "Reptile". We ofcourse are not suggesting he is, or that he doesn't have the best intentions for his positive mission, but you would think his P.R. people would be a bit more careful with how he is being portrayed in the media.

"My brother wonders why I can't just throw an egg at the prime minister," says de Rothschild, "but we live in a world obsessed by events, and we have to create events to make people sit up and notice." - David de Rothschild***

The image of the Skull and Bones has become an extremely popular icon in the modern visual Lexicon recently, especially on clothes. Interesting choice for a man who is pushing life, and that it references the flag of the original "God's Bankers" - Knights Templar after being repelled from Jerusalem. Most likely a coincidence no doubt...

In recent years Rothschild has formed an organization to help raise awareness of global climate issues as well as green living and technology.* The logo for his organization Adventure Ecology features a very Pyramid like shape. Perhaps rising over the crest of the North Pole where he sponsored a trip.

Logo for the upcoming trip.
"His most recent project, Plastiki, is scheduled to set sail in April 2009 for a 7,500 mile sea voyage on recycled plastic bottles."*

Logo for the "Educational Series" with Adventure Ecology logo floating above the earth

"He's got the whole world in his hands..."

Mr. Rothschild sporting one of the signature Adventure Ecology watches

Jesus Preying

Nice bit of Eye of Ra imagery from the website thrown in for good measure...

"David de Rothschild is the scion of one of Europe's oldest banking families, but he has a different idea of wealth: a healthy planet. So he built a boat from plastic bottles to sail the Pacific in search of flotsam and wisdom"**

"David de Rothschild
Fast Facts
Full name: David Mayer de Rothschild
Born: August 25, 1978
One of small group who has traveled across the arctic and antarctic ice caps
Named as an Emerging Explorer by National Geographic in 20072
Founded Adventure Ecology" *

Looks like we are not the only ones who saw the similarity... http://forums.ukcolumn.org/showthread.php?tid=344

Many so-called "Conspiracy Theorists" claim that Global Warming is a "World Stealth Tax" by "The Banking Elite" and that the Earth is either naturally heating up or cooling down. Infowars.com & Prison Planet's Alex Jones interviewed David Mayer de Rothschild in 2007 and the alternative theories are expressed her and all over the web. Listen to the interview here

His guide on Surviving the forth coming disaster discussed here

Way Out Sierra Leone Music Project

Way Out -Sierra Leone Music Project

For 11 years Sierra Leone was embroiled in one of the most brutal conflicts ever reported. It left the country classified as the second poorest in the world, with unemployment amongst young people estimated at 70%.

Republic of Sierra Leone

After the war, music played its part in rebuilding the country giving a voice to the disenfranchised and, in the 2007 Government elections, a group of musicians called Artists for Peace toured the country promoting peace not violence.

Artists for Peace

Way Out's flagship project is working in Sierra Leone to enable young people to express themselves and in expressing themselves by producing music, accessing equipment and gain opportunities through their creativity. The young people will benefit from the project creatively, socially and economically; creatively, providing an opportunity to produce music and explore their talents; socially, providing an opportunity to voice their opinions and feelings; and economically, providing them with job opportunities and security for their future.

Sierra Leone musicians talking with Mike Chandler/DJ Furious of Way Out & Sensei.fm

Music has the potential to provide a means of expression for young people and many jobs but;
Music is not taught in schools.

There are very few live instruments.

There is only one music school in the country, and it charges fees.

There are few studios and costs are high.

And yet, it is said, that 70% of all young people want to make music.

In October 2007, Way Out Arts went on a fact-finding mission to Sierra Leone, where we spoke to some of the leading artists, record labels, DJs, musicians, music schools and youth organisations. They found out what they thought was needed to support young people into music-based opportunities and to support them for the future.

The Way Out Sierra Leone Project is a result of what was fed back through that consultation.

Fundraiser:
Music Is Life will be supporting WAYout as their main charity at their next Spotlight Sessions event, down at MotherBar (above the 333 club, Old Street) on Thursday 8th October - please come down and support!
