Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi Thailand

When you travel to Thailand, definitely consider visiting the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi province. Located basically halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya, the Tiger Zoo opened in April of 1997 and is a popular attraction for tourists. The 100 acre park features animals of all sorts, including more than 200 Bengal tigers and 100,000 crocodiles.

The park has all sorts of animals to see. Not only are there lots of tigers of course, but there are elephants, camels, crocodiles, pigs, donkeys, deer, monkeys and scorpions to new a few. Some of the animals are seen in the various shows, and other animals you can actually visit with, pet and feed. There is a large area in the center of the zoo where there are animals in pens or tied up, and you can go stand near them and take a picture, or you can buy some green plants that you can feed to the different animals.

I guess their theory is right. If an animal is kept properly fed, you don't have to worry about him/her looking at their playmates as food.
