I spent the whole afternoon today playing with my makeup stash and yah, I've decided that I'll be getting new foundation after getting some pointers from Mag.
Anyway, that's another long story.
This product is certainly a trip down memory lane and part of my growing up years. I think I was in Primary School back then and I remember some Mediacorp (Back then it was called TCS / SBC) actress appearing in the advertisement, doing the rubbing actions and saying how effective it was.
Anyway, my sister bought this product while we were shopping with our parents in NTUC some time back. She was spending loads on expensive skincare and yet nothing seemed to work. Her face was all blotchy and red.
So when we came across this product, we were thinking, well, there has to be a reason why this product is still around after being introduced more than a decade ago. And it was wallet friendly, which suited my sister well. So we decided to give it a try.
The texture as is a beige gel that has a slight watery consistency. No grains or whatsoever and is to be used on a dry face. Hmmm, dry face.. Sounds kind of scary since I usually douse water even on the mildest scrubs.. But oh well, I was prepared. I have the whole day to recover if this don't work out. So off I went, rubbing to better skin.
You can actually see it does it's work as the "dead cells" coadjute into white pasty balls which are to be washed off. And the results, my skin felt cleaner, breathable, smooth and the pores appeared finer. Although it didn't quite work for stubborn blackheads on the wings of my nose and my skin was kinda angry after the scrub, but well, my skin is angry most of the time after any scrub.
All in all, for the price and effects, I would definitely repurchase it. But I think for the next round, I would get the Green Tea version to try instead.
