Good Luck to our friend Nic Du Preez, one of Kru Jen's hardest working fighters who is going to B.C. for his first no gear fight this weekend (Saturday May 2).
For those of us in Canada where Muay Thai is not as developed nor has much support from the government, the chance to fight without gear is a big step. Nic has been working hard and earned his right to take on this challenge, and we are sure he will do well.
Kru Jen will be flying out with Nic, Kru Mina and Margaret Moriezwic to corner all 3 of them for their fights.
Best of luck to all, and safe travels.

Sean Penn Files For Divorce
After splitting up 3 times in one year, Sean Penn has finally decided that he's had enough of Robin Wright and has officially filed for divorce.
If you remember the Oscars this year, Sean Penn didn't thank Robin Wright when he won but he did thank the "homo-loving sons of guns." Now if that didn't send a clear message that they were about to get divorced, I don't know what would.
Sean Penn seems to be the one who runs the show in that marriage and it looks like he's had enough. He probably wants to get better acquainted with Natalie Portman now that the two are doing a movie together. Hey, ya never know.
Taxed Enough Already!
Today I submit my income tax through E-Filing.
I waited for the last day because I love the last minute rush.
Frankly speaking I love the E-Filing System.It is so easy and convenient over a cup of TEA.
Taxes are a way of paying our fair share towards a country that gives us so much. People live in a nation and pay taxes not because they fear prosecution but because they show love for the country and think it is their duty to pay taxes so that they can do their bit to improve the public school system, public health system that vaccinates kids against childhood disease, for a fortified national security system, and of course for a balanced federal budget.

A visit from some great friends & a new appreciation for my new home town
Fran and Barry, our best buddies from the Amazing Race, came for a visit, and we were so excited to see them. We all talk often, it is hard NOT to stay in touch considering these are the only people who know exactly what you went through, and had the same unique experience on that crazy, over the top, around the world trip of a lifetime.
It was really nice to show them around the Fort, it is funny how sometimes you don't appreciate what you have until someone points it out to. I think they thought...oh, "Fort Smith, " nothing to write home about; They just came for some quality time with Joseph and I. However,I think they left with a new appreciation for Arkansas. They thought the downtown area was wonderful, intriguing and had tons of potential. It was nice to show them all the renovations to our ongoing downtown project. I am actually really amazed myself how well it is coming along, it doesn't look like much right now, but the bones are definitely there...I can see it all so clear now, through the blueprints, engineering and architecture plans, it is going to be incredible...like no other place in the Fort, or Arkansas as far as I am concerned! I'm a lil biased..

I love the exposed brick wall...it dates back to the 1900's, when Fort Smith was the prime spot in the westerm Frontier
